Technology by definition is the usage and knowledge of tools, machines, craft, skills, science etc. Today technology refers to the use of electronics, computers, computer chips, electronic circuits, silicon chips, telecommunications, and electronic consumer goods. More often, today the word technology is substituted with the word information technology.
